The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Toatoa for a motor vehicle accident. Following assessment and treatment at the scene, the patient was flown to Middlemore Hospital in a serious condition. Thanks to St John Ōpōtiki for their assistance.
