In the early hours of the morning, responded to a motor vehicle crash in Hicks Bay. Hato Hone St John transported the patient to Hicks Bay School, where they were transferred to the rescue helicopter and flown to Gisborne Hospital in a stable condition. The response was supported by Hicks Bay first responders, Hato Hone St John and New Zealand Police.
