The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a medical event at Tikitiki where our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient before flying them in stable condition to Gisborne Hospital. While the team was on the job Tauranga’s Aerocool Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to undertake a simultaneous mission to Ruatoria, also flying their patient in stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
