The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Māhia for a medical event. The on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown to Hastings in a serious condition. The crew extends thanks to Wairoa St John and the Māhia first responders.
