The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a medical event at Tolaga Bay. The patient was assessed and treated, then flown in a serious condition to Waikato Hospital. Thanks are extended to the Tolaga Bay Volunteer Fire Brigade and Gisborne St John crews for their assistance.
