A great location description from those on the scene helped the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter make speedy progress to Anaura Bay, where the team had been called for a medical event. Once on site, our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a serious condition to Gisborne Hospital.

Called to Ruatoria for a motor vehicle accident, the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital. St John’s and Ruatoria Police were on the scene to assist.

Following a medical event, the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to transfer a patient from Gisborne Hospital. Our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic stabilised, assessed and treated the patient before they were flown in a stable condition to Waikato Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to a medical event in Matawai, where our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient before they were flown in a serious condition to Gisborne Hospital. Thanks to support from NZ Police, Fire & Emergency, and the community of Matawai.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a trauma in Tokomaru Bay, where our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital. Many thanks to the whanau who brought our patient to the park for uplift, and the nurse who cared for them until we arrived.

They were flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital, along with another patient from Te Araroa Medical Centre.
